Close to 5 CHILDREN DIE EVERY DAY as a result of child abuse in the United States.

This study looked at confirmed child maltreatment cases, 1,740 fatal and 579,000 non–fatal, for a 12–month period. According to (CDC.Gov) The Office of the Associate Director for Communication, Division of News and Electronic Media child abuse and neglect cost the United States $124 billion. Child maltreatment has been shown to have many negative effects on survivors, including poorer health, social and emotional difficulties, and decreased economic productivity.

*The results are outstanding and provide the facts that child neglect and abuse are still the number one reason why schools and adults need to keep on researching and finding better ways to fight back child abuse.

Men suffer love sickness more longer than women.

Men and women really do think about love differently! When men say "I love you," they use the phrase (more often than women) and men suffer love sickness more longer than women. According to psychologist, Dr. Wiebke Neberich, the cause could be steeped in the fact that "women are more often the one to break off the relationship, and men have a propensity to overestimate a woman's interest, meaning that they also get brushed off and suffer from unrequited love more often." Men will use the phrase “I love you” more often then women to have sex

As a ploy to get the partner to have sex men will use the phrase “I love you” more often then women. What I found interesting was that men really get upset when they lose their cell phones.

Even though 80% of communication is estimated to be nonverbal, men do get depress when they lose their cell phones. Men are finding it helpful to communicate by using text messages and cell phone calling. 70 percent of women have phone separation anxiety, as opposed to 61 percent of men. Hum, I wonder how many times a man is texting "I love you" to their girl. LOL

Global Internet Communication and Virtual Love

A topic that psychologist are now needing to study - Internet love.

Years to come, will hugging the Internet and a robot replace true love? Are we touching glass to look for love? Are we losing our natural love senses? Such as smell, touch, direct eye contact and communication. With the recent media sites such as Facebook or Match and new dating technologies it is changing the way we find someone to fall in love with.

Will it change our dating behaviors? I think so. Dating online is global. Men will find the chase allot easier and women will have more men to select. The needs of our natural love senses are becoming less needed if we are searching for love on the net. Will the next generations lose the natural born sexual sensations? Moreover, change the emotion communication to find that perfect mate and change our marriage behavior patterns.
